BASIC SAILING COURSE

This program is intended for all adults with no sailing experience who want to learn the basics and step into the wonderful world of sailing. Also this program is a great preparation for our advanced sailing course.

The theoretical and practical part of the course includes;

basic sailing terminology
sailboat parts,
sailing directions,
sailing maneuvers, jibe, tack
trimming of sails-basic
reefing of the sails
positioning crew members
steering
basic knots
basic sailing rules
avoiding collisions at sea
safety at sea
basics of meteorology

DURATION: 3 days, Friday - Saturday
CHECK IN: Fridayday from 4 p.m.
CHECK OUT: Sunday at 6 p.m.

DAILY SCHEDULE
08:00 a.m. Breakfast in apartments
09:30 a.m. Theoretical lecture
11:00 a.m. Practical classes at sea
02:00 p.m. Lunch Break
03:00 p.m. Practical classes at sea
05:00 p.m. Arrival in the marina

MEALS: Breakfast in the apartments - the team prepares breakfast
Lunch on board - lunch package
Dinners are organized as follows - in local taverns or in the apartment

Price includes: Boat, Instructor, fuel, learning materials.
The price does not include: accommodation, food and drinks, VAT.

WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU BRING WITH YOU: Sailing gloves, non slip shoes, T- shirt long and short, pents long and short, sunscreen, cap or a hat, sunglasses, water proof jackets and pants, personal hygiene, towel etc.

*At the end of the course, all participants will receive a diploma of successful completion of the course.
